Friday Sillies

I thought I'd post a couple silly pictures to start off the weekend.

My little rockstars:

Carly did this all on her own.

Clint officially has off a regular Saturday & Sunday every week now.

 We are so grateful.

Vintage Fruit Crate Shelving

Since last fall, I've had this crate used for books & toys for the kids.

This crate was full of peaches that my mother-in-law & I canned last fall!

Ever since then, I knew I wanted a zillion & a half more to use for storage bins.

I just never got around to getting any more.

Well, like many people these days, I was Pin-spired! ;)

I really wanted to do something similar to THIS. But a little different.

So, I was able to get my hands on some more of these crates, so I finally could make something with them! 

They were actually alot bigger than my original one, which I was so happy about :)

Clint put them all together for me with some plywood for support on the bottom and the back & screws. And we had some wheels laying around that we put on the bottom for height. It is pretty sturdy & actually could roll around on a hard floor.

I LOVE IT :)

I've gotta give props to Clint for putting it all together for me!

Carly's Puggles Awards :)

Wednesday night we had Carly's Puggles Awards :)

It was such a fun night for us!

The Puggles group is the youngest of the Awana groups.

(Next year they are going to have tadpoles, so little Rogue can go!)

Carly only went 2 evenings - it's hard to get into a routine of going somewhere weekly, when you're not used to it. Sometimes we were just so rushed in the evenings, it didn't work out. Carly loved going & always told us everything she did when we picked her up. We were so proud of her. Dropping our firstborn off to the first thing that resembled [school] was kind of hard for us!

She got all dressed up in her pretty new dress & was so excited to go! :)

{I seriously tried to upload the super cute videos of the songs that they did during the program. It was so cute. One with motions & one with instruments. I couldn't get them to upload after several attempts. I guess they are too large)

Monday Morning Sweets

This morning I was just browsing through the blogs I follow & I found this recipe for Cinnamon Roll Muffins.
I couldn't resist making them! Cinnamon Roll anything always gets me.
Here's how mine turned out:

Boy, do they smell good! I wish I could transport the smell through this picture to YOU! :)
They don't look like the original recipe, but that's ok! I can never get icing right...mine is always runny & clear. Oh well - it always tastes good though! They were so easy to make & it eliminated the step of the yeast & letting the dough rise! Definitely a redo :)
