Picnic Table Redo

So last Monday, when the temperatures were like 45 degrees higher than they were today, we repainted our picnic table.

I got the table probably a few months shy of a year ago on Freecycle. I had posted that I wanted some lawn furniture, and this nice lady told me I could have this! We decided to take it and we didn't use it much last year.
It was in serious need of something. And I finally convinced Clint that some white paint would do the trick! So, since it's one of his days off, we decided to tackle it. One of the chairs was almost in pieces and the table needed some work too. But Clint did the fixin' up that was needed and we were ready to paint it! The weather was perfect!
We used just whatever was the cheapest outdoor paint for wood. We didn't primer it or anything, we just started painting. We did 1 coat on everything, even underneath. And then a 2nd coat on all the surface & "seeable" places. I'm just now getting around to posting about it, so here it is! :)

I love, love, LOVE it! :) It is exactly what it needed!

I hope this inspires some of you! I am so happy that I did it!

Yellowstone

Here are just a handful of our pictures. I couldn't possibly post them all - but I hope this gives you an idea of our trip! It was beautiful! Snowmobiling was a great experience. I tipped the snowmobile backwards once. I quickly got out of the way so it didn't fall on me. A bunch of others got stuck quite a few times. The guide said we were "a wild bunch!" Haha! It was so much fun! :)

Home Sweet Home

Ah, home sweet home! :) We had an amazing time - it's hard to explain without pictures! We saw so much wildlife & not to mention snowmobiling was SO MUCH FUN!
We had the time of our lives, but it is good to be home. And home to late spring temperatures! How crazy. Everyone down state kept talking about their daffodils blooming & almost done actually...well today I noticed out in the flower beds some daffodils sprouting. I can't wait until they bloom! The temperatures for the next who knows how long aren't supposed to be below 70!

It was like 30 degrees out in Yellowstone with a couple feet of snow! And we came home to this! How cool! :)
Well, I'll get pictures posted as soon as I can! Today is Clint's birthday, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to get them posted today, but I'll try!

I'm-A-Ready

We're ready. In just a little over 24 hours from now, we will have landed in Bozeman, Montana & have at least the flying part of the trip under our belts! Then we have a 2 hour drive to West Yellowstone.

It's snowing, well flurrying, here today. I think it's to get us prepared for the trip after our spring-like weather we've had this past week.
*PS: I am secretly envious of you down-staters that it was 70 & sunny! That sounded wonderful! :)

We haven't escaped the snow yet...maybe here in PA, but out west there's still plenty of it!
